If you’re searching for a free trial training at CrossFit Kreis 9, you might be wondering why we don’t offer them. After all, many gyms and fitness studios do. The short answer? Because we want you to succeed.
CrossFit Kreis 9 isn’t like a standard gym where you can walk in, hop on a treadmill, and follow a routine. It’s a coached, structured training environment where everyone—whether beginner or advanced—deserves the best possible experience. Here’s why jumping into a free trial class wouldn’t set you up for success.
1. You’re not here to “try CrossFit” – you have a goal
No one walks through our doors simply thinking, “I want to try CrossFit.”What brings people to us is something deeper. Maybe you want to get stronger, feel more energized, move without pain, set a positive example for your kids, or simply regain control over your health.
Even if you’re not entirely sure what your goal is yet, it’s there. And that’s exactly why we start with a conversation, not a class.
Understanding your deeper motivation is crucial. It’s what will keep you going when motivation fades (and believe us, no one is always motivated to train). It also allows us to adjust your training when life gets hard—so instead of quitting your fitness journey, we help you stay on track in a way that works for you.
2. A trial is just a snapshot in time
One training session won’t show you what CrossFit is really about. Every class is different, and progress comes from consistency, not a one-time workout. If you happen to drop in on a day with movements that don’t play to your strengths, it could feel discouraging—even if everything goes well.
We don’t want that. We want you to leave feeling capable and excited about what’s ahead—not frustrated by a single workout that doesn’t represent the bigger picture.
3. Group training isn’t for everyone—personal training might be a better fit
Many people come to us thinking they want group training, but after talking through their goals, they realize that personal training is actually a better fit. Others assume they should train in a group but later find themselves thriving in 1:1 coaching instead.
A free trial in a group class could be the worst way to start for these people. It doesn’t allow them to focus on what they truly need and can even make them feel out of place. That’s why we take the time to understand what type of training will work best for you before you ever step onto the gym floor.
4. Safety comes first
At CrossFit Kreis 9, we take coaching seriously. That’s why everyone goes through an onboarding process before joining our regular classes.
Without this foundation, being thrown into a group workout could feel overwhelming—or worse, unsafe. We want you to move well, understand the movements, and get the most out of your training from day one.
5. It’s about your experience (and our members’)
A class at CrossFit Kreis 9 isn’t just a workout—it’s a coached session where members receive guidance, feedback, and personal attention. If someone joins a class without prior experience, the coach naturally spends more time ensuring they’re safe and comfortable. That’s not fair to our members who expect the same coaching quality every session.
What we offer instead
Instead of a free trial, we invite you to a free consultation where we can:
Get to know you and your goals—even the ones you haven’t thought about yet
Explain our onboarding process and why it’s key to your success
See if we are the right fit for you and you for us
Our goal is to help you build confidence, move well, and see real results—not just survive a single class. If you’re looking for more than just a trial, let’s talk.
